World Water Day

World Water Day

Water covers 70% of the Earth’s surface and plays an essential role in maintaining the planet’s equilibrium over the long term.

World Water Day is an opportunity to remind ourselves of what is at stake, so that together we can devise solutions to the challenges posed by climate change in relation to water: from its consequences for resource management to the necessary strategies for adapting to climate risks.

The 10th World Water Forum, to be held from 18 to 24 May in Bali (Indonesia), will be an opportunity for players from all over the world to meet, collaborate and share the latest innovations in this field.

Predict will be leading several working sessions in collaboration with the Institut Méditerranéen de l’Eau (IME) on these issues and on solutions adapted to the Mediterranean region, with a view to working towards rational, sustainable and equitable management of the resource and helping to improve the resilience of our societies in the face of hydro-meteorological risks.
