After a year 2023 marked by extreme events and new temperature records, on Thursday July 4, Predict Innove brought together 130 members of the risk management community (local authorities, businesses, insurance companies, international bodies, civil protection and research services…) to share their thoughts and feedback on how to continue innovating in the face of risk.
Collaborative workshops analyzed needs and trends, with a view to developing services and tools dedicated to risk management. 6 themes were addressed over the course of the day:
adapting the Wiki-Predict platform to new challenges
forest fire safety solutions
Intercommunal Safeguard Plan (PICS)
the question of insurability in the face of climatic risks and the link with prevention
technological developments related to risk management (digital twins, artificial intelligence, space technology, etc.)
safeguard actions that can be implemented within a short timeframe (in the case of rapid, violent storms)
The conclusions of these listening and collaborative workshops will enable Predict to guide innovations and adapt solutions to improve resilience.
