Second national conference on Early Warning Systems

The 2nd national conference on Early Warning Systems (EWS) was held in Tunis on 8 and 9 May, organised by the World Bank as part of the ‘ResCat’ integrated disaster resilience programme supported by the Tunisian government.

Predict, represented by Alix Roumagnac and Karine Moreau, co-facilitated workshops focusing on the transition from strategy to action.

The progress and next steps for the implementation of multirisk SAP in Tunisia were identified by the National SAP Committee and the pilot sites in the municipalities of Greater Tunis, Ghardimaou and Kébili.
