On December 2, from 8:30 am to 10 am, Predict Services took part in Viavoice’s France 2025 Barometer on the concerns of the French people regarding climate issues, alongside Generali France and Radio Classique.
What are the expectations of the French regarding climate policy? What environmental problems are they most concerned about and what concrete actions would they like to see implemented? These were the questions at the heart of the debate.
Alix Roumagnac, President of Predict Services, explained that in the 15 years that Predict has been in existence, “we have seen the frequency of climatic events accelerate and their intensity worsen. All actors (States, local authorities, companies, citizens) must act to mitigate climate disruption. ”
Climate appears as one of the top five concerns of the French for 2025 (33%). Alix Roumagnac is concerned:
In the barometer, the fact that CO2 is not an absolute priority for the French is striking. They are turning to companies to solve the problem, which is a way of taking away their responsibility. What bothers me is that people don't see themselves as having a role in mitigation factors.
