16th Annual Major Risks Information Forum

16th Annual Major Risks Information Forum

On 14 and 15 November, as part of the 16th annual Information Forum on Major Risks (IRISES) held at the French National Assembly, the round table entitled “How can local authorities in the Ile-de-France region adapt to the risk of flooding?” provided an opportunity to share feedback and best practice from stakeholders in crisis management and in dealing with the growing risk of flooding.

Alongside the DRIEAT (Direction régionale et interdépartementale Environnement-Aménagement-Transports) Ile de France, the ETPB Seine Grands Lacs, the Département du Val-de-Marne, the Métropole du Grand Paris, the Préfecture de Police de Paris and the Ville de Rueil-Malmaison, Alix Roumagnac, Chairman of Predict Services, discussed the organisation of crisis management: from the PCS to the warning to activate preventive actions.

Speech by Alix Roumagnac

The impact of climate change, our need to adapt and the solutions deployed to support local authorities in anticipating and managing hydro-meteorological risks were shared.
